Adding attendees individually
1 |
You can add attendees individually to your event from here or from the report section of the event. |
2 |
A ticket must be selected to every attendee you want to add. You can open the listing of the tickets for the event from the Ticket drop-down menu. |
3 |
The name and email of the attendee are needed. Here you can also edit the selected language for this registration. |
4 |
You can choose if the name of the attendee will be shown on the attendee list if it is published. Remember to ask permission from the attendee to do this. |
5 |
If you accept group registrations for your event, you can add an individual attendee to a group from here. You can find the correct group by using the name of the registrant of the group. |
Adding attendees using a file
1 |
You can add muliple attendees at once to an event by importing them in Microsoft Excel (.xlsx, .xls) or plain text (.csv) format. |
2 |
Choose the file from your computer. The first row of the table is the headline, which is used to target the data. Remember that the table has to have at least columns for first name and last name. If your excel file contains information in dropdowns the values within are not transferred to Eventilla, the values must be in cells in plain form. |
3 |
Using the 'No ticket column' option from the Ticket column / Invite drop-down menu you get to choose the same ticket for all attendees. If you choose certain ticket column, for instance first name, you get to choose tickets to the attendees individually. Sorting is made at this example by the first name of the attendee. By selecting the 'Add as invited' option the attendees go to the Invited section in reports. |
4 |
If you choose a ticket column such as first name like in the example above, you will be shown a menu where you can choose the desired ticket for each individual attendee. |
Adding attendees from file to different ticket types
1 |
Choose Import attendees from file. |
2 |
Import the file in Microsoft Excel (.xlsx, .xls) or in plain text (.csv) format. An example of appropriate Excel file shown below. This excel-file has been used in this example. |
3 |
In this stage choose the ticket column as the sorting method. |
4 |
Sorting is done using the information on the ticket column. You can now choose which tickets of your event correspond to which values in the ticket column of your excel-file. |
5 |
When you press continue, the attendee information will be transferred to the Registered with the ticket information that you have entered. |
Below is an example of excel-file. The mandatory columns are first name, last name and email. Added to that in this file there is also a column for the ticket information, which is used to determine which ticket is selected to each individual attendee. Please note that you need the first and last name to be in different columns so that the information can be imported to Eventilla. Learn more how you can split a column in Excel from here.
