The general VAT rate in Finland will increase from 24% to 25.5% starting September 1, 2024. If registration for the event is ongoing on September 1, 2024, there are a few things that should be taken into account.
In Eventilla the VAT rate of the ticket cannot be changed if the ticket already has registrations. For this reason, for those tickets whose registration continues after September 1, 2024, we urge you to:
1. Take a copy of the old ticket:
2. change the VAT rate of the ticket for the copied ticket, and the start date of the sale to 1 September 2024:
3. Determine the end date of the sale of the original ticket as September 1, 2024
You should also note that if the ticket uses fields with an additional fee, the form used with the ticket must also be changed.
